I'm a staff software and platform engineering leader based in San Antonio, TX. I lead platform and architecture work in the healthcare industry. I've spent most of my career in SRE, DevOps, and cloud operations, from Rackspace and Mailgun to digital health startups. I like building systems that stay up, scale when they need to, and don't surprise people at 2 a.m. Lately that's meant platform modernization across AWS and Azure, stronger CI/CD, and working closely with security and compliance teams in regulated environments.

Away from the keyboard, I'm happily married — my wife is the best part of my life outside of work. We share our home with four cats who run the house; we just pay the mortgage and open the cans.

When I'm not at the computer or at home, you'll often find me running or traveling. I'm a marathon runner and love road miles and trail running around San Antonio.
